Download does not occur if object is already present on user's machine. 2) Digital DNA is calculated and sent to associated website. Description: The Legitimi software uses hardware information to calculate the Digital DNA, once this step is completed it is encrypted and sent to the associated website over an SSL connection. 3) Associated website consults Legitimi for validation of the Digital DNA. Description: The associated website makes a "go/ no go" query to verify if the Digital DNA is included in the Legitimi database as associated with user's credit card, login or bank account information. 4a) Authorized Digital DNA allows transaction to proceed. Description: If Legitimi validates the associated website's query, the transaction is authorized and is completed. 4b) Unauthorized Digital DNA increases level of questions asked to user. Description: If Legitimi does not validate the associated website's query, additional questions will be posed to user, as a means to guarantee their identity. If questions are correctly answered, user may opt to include the new Digital DNA in the Legitimi database.
